Spectacular winter visitor

The shapes of the flocks of Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris – Ψαρόνι) is one of the more impressive views in the winter, especially when predator attacks them.

The first three pictures were taken while i was down with flu, from my verandah.

A Sparrowhawk followed them for a while without tempting any attack.
Now the starlings are completely gone from my area, until next November.
