Phalacrocorax carbo (Κορμοράνος – Great Cormorant)

Arrocampo reservoir is an wetland located at the west edge of the famous Monfrague national park. It is the result of several dams on small streams & its initial purpose is the cooling of the nearby nuclear station ! That’s why it keeps all year long a constant well regulated water level.
I observed there two new species the unpredictable & beautiful Black – shouldered Kite & the Swamphen .
