It was the first time i decided to make some efforts to photograph with the panning method, over the beautiful river passing through Barco D’Avila, a village NW of Sierra De Gredos. The river should be the background effect & the Swallows the central subject of the photos.
There were also House-Martins, Sand-Martins & Swifts flying over the river but their flight was far more unpredictable, to follow through for panning with the camera. Swallows could make a nearly 180 degrees flight just some centimeters over the water & without any sudden turn, in front of my visual field, a fact suitable for panning.
Below photo was not a panning effort.
