Acheloos estuaries – Phoenicopterus roseus/Casmerodius albus


We counted approx. five thousands Phoenicopterus roseus (Greater Flamingo) at Acheloos estuaries and Mesollogi lagoons during the midwinter monitoring. The wintering population increases but this impressive species still cannot establish a breeding colony.
