Tringa nebularia – Larus genei

Tringa nebularia (Greenshank) prefers feeding alone. It has the most impressive aerial song-flight with switchback pattern, it may rise to 300 meters.

One of the more distinctive features of Larus genei (Slender billed gull) is its elegant, elongated body (from the bill to the tail). Above in an elongated posture seems further more elongated.
Below the same individual, with its legs just appearing from the surface (distinctive feature of this species).
