Oulu Hupisaaret park

Turdus iliacus – Redwing – Κοκκινότσιχλα.

In Finland thruses like Fieldfare, Redwing and Song Thrush can be easily seen in summer, even in urban parks. The first one is probably the commonest.

A view from Oulu Hupisaaret park, towards a part of the estuary of river Oulujoki

Just a while after sunset, two Stoats (Mustela erminea – Eρμίνα) were playing (?) on a quiet path of the park. I felt very lucky to watch and capture the action of this “difficult” species.
