Falco peregrinus – Urban wildlife

Sometimes impressive wildlife could live no more than ten minute walking distance from home in the middle of the extremely large city of Athens. I was waiting this Peregrine Falcon (Πετρίτης) to make a flight above me for about a year – OK i was not there “all days and all of the nights” the last 365 days – and finally he did it ten days ago. Unfortunately a man with a dog wanted to have a conversation with me and i had to be polite and tried to promote urban wildlife as a great fact for a city with my eyes stick on the powerful falcon. Although i tried to manage both, the result was that i lost some crucial frames per second!
Notice the remaining blood on his claws.
