Η φωτό είναι από δάσος που απλώνεται Νότια των Βρυξελλών, Foret de Soignes.
Αρχικά πίστεψα ότι θα μπορούσε να ήταν Certhia familiaris (Βουνοδεντροβάτης), με κύριο επιχείρημα το ίσως μακρύ πίσω νύχι. Ωστόσο ξανακοιτάζοντάς την, τον οριστικοποίησα σαν Certhia brachydactyla (Καμποδενδροβάτης), λόγω των ευδιάκριτων λευκών άκρων στα πρωτεύοντα, των ομαλών (?) βαθμίδων της ρίγας της φτερούγας & τον ευδιάκριτο καφέ τόνο στο πίσω κάτω μέρος του πουλιού. Υπάρχουν όμως ακόμη κάποια στοιχεία που υπονομεύουν αυτήν την αναγνώριση, όπως το πολύ μακρύ & καθαρό λευκό φρύδι & το ίσως πράγματι μακρύ ? τελικά νύχι. Κάθε γνώμη ευπρόσδεκτη.
Ακολουθεί άλλο ένα Certhia από ένα αστικό πάρκο το Park de Cinquantenaire.

The first photo was taken at the Foret de Soignes south of Brussels.
Firstly i thought it was a Certhia familiaris (Eurasian Treecreeper) based on its supposed long hindclaw. However at a second glance, i decided that it was a Certhia brachydactyla (Short-toed Treecreeper) based on its distinct primary white tips, its even “steps” along the edge of the wing bar & on the distinct brown tinge at the upper body of the bird. But there are still some points which undermine this decision and need further research. Those are : The long (?) hindclaw and mainly the clean white supercilium, which looks like newly washed (Collins Bird Guide). Are there any ideas about the bird’s identity ?
The second photo is another Certhia sp from the urban Park de Cinquantenaire, more probably a brachydactyla but still a challenge to resolve and good for comparison with the previous individual.
